Hi, my name is Paola.
I was born in Italy, lived in England for a couple of years then moved to the USA in 2000. As long as I can remember, I had a hidden passion for drawing. Art pencils and papers fascinated me, they represented the beginning of a new creative possibility.
Later in life just before my daughter’s 7th birthday party, I discovered the charm of FacePainting. It all happened when I took my daughter to a school fair. She had her face painted and the happiness I experienced watching her face light up in joy and amazement with her new look, enchanted and inspired me to the point of attempting it myself on her 7th birthday party.
From that point on, my passion for Face Painting kept growing day after day. So much so, that it has become my driving force to research new brushes, paint, techniques and most of all to ensure the safety of the children I paint.
As she gets older my daughter’s passion lessens and I decided to use my passion to make other children experience the same joy, amazement and delight that she experienced. Therefore I spend most of my day researching new techniques, staying updated with the latest books and DVD’s on Face painting, to improve myself and my new craft.
